Dell Streak Launching in Singapore on October 20

Posted: 07 Oct 2010 02:36 AM PDT

Dell is going to have a special media event in Singapore on October 20, for the launch of Dell Streak and some other products as well. Not just product launch, there is going to be much more on the event i.e how Dell products are being used by consumers.

We don’t have much details on the event yet, but as soon as things get finalized and some more info is out, it will be posted on this blog – and we might even cover that event live!

So, stay tuned!

How to Download Your Information from Facebook

Posted: 06 Oct 2010 01:14 PM PDT

Facebook has rolled out a new feature today that would allow you to download your information on Facebook and export your data to wherever you want.

This was one feature that was always missing from Facebook. And there was no proper service either to backup your Facebook account (SocialSafe did pop up a while ago).

When this feature rolls out, it will be very easy to download/export your information from Facebook. All you have to do is, go to Account (top right menu) > Account Settings > Download Your information. Select the option to download a .zip file which will have your entire Facebook profile, including photos, videos, wall posts, messages, friends, notes and a lot more.

Currently, there is no option to restore or import this data back into Facebook, but I’m sure that feature will be coming out soon once the “Download Your Information” is rolled out for everyone on Facebook.

Facebook has just announced a new feature for Facebook users, that is “Download Your Information”. You will now be able to download your entire Facebook profile and information from your account.

In other words, it will allow you to save a backup of your Facebook account on your computer and export your Facebook information in a .zip file.

"People own and have control over all info they put into Facebook and "Download Your Information" enables people to take stuff with them," says Zuckerberg.

This feature will be rolled out to everyone slowly in the coming days.
