Firefox 4.0 is now available for download for Windows and Mac. It’s not yet available on the official Firefox website, but you can grab the latest Firefox 4.0 release from the Mozilla FTP. It will be announced later today.

The latest Firefox 4.0 brings a variety of new features, impr0vments and enhancements to the browser. Afterall, we all expect something really good from Mozilla as this Firefox update took months in development.

YouTube has created a channel, YouTube Person Finder (????), that aggregates video messages from the sufferers of the massive earthquake and tsunami that hit northeastern Japan a week ago.

Videos were being shot at TBS, a major TV station in Japan, and are now in the process of being uploaded.

According to them,

Our hope is that this channel will help victims and their families to establish each other’s safety, and that the video messages will reach many viewers and motivate them to contribute to the recovery and restoration of the disaster-stricken areas.

Videos shot by individuals will be available soon as well.

Internet Explorer 9 is now finally available for download for PCs, but after a small announcmenet and demo, we never heard of Windows Phone 7′s Internet Explorer 9.

IE9 on Windows Phone 7 has been caught in action on video by The Next Web. You can watch it after the jump.

Internet Explorer 9 on Windows Phone 7 is expected to release with an update called ‘Mango’. And will include features like hardware acceleration, share via Twitter etc.

Samsung Galaxy S2 Mini is for real. Samsung seems to like mini version of their every high-end phone. Galaxy S2 Mini seems to be a smaller version of the mighty Galaxy S2, which was announced at MWC’11.

Galaxy S2 Mini will have a 3.7″ display screen, 1.4GHz processor, 5 megapixels camera with flash and Android 2.3.

This phone is expected to launch in April to Three (UK carrier).

Firefox 4 final  is expected to release tomorrow, on March 22, and now there is already news of Firefox 5. The next version of Mozilla Firefox could be released in the last week of June.

From now on, a new Firefox release will take 16 weeks which is a lot better than their previous cycle which included an year of beta testing.

According to Mozilla's Rob Sayre, Firefox might follow the development of Chrome and split Firefox into four different channels: nightly, experimental, beta and final.
