How to Uninstall Chrome Apps

Chrome introduced the Chrome Webstore and Apps support for Google Chrome yesterday at the Google Chrome OS event in San Francisco.

Installing apps in Google Chrome hardly takes 5 seconds, and same is the case when uninstalling apps you don’t want in your Chrome browser.

How to Uninstall Chrome Apps

Follow the instructions below to uninstall Chrome apps from your browser.

  1. In your Chrome apps list, hover your mouse on the app you want to uninstall.
  2. Click the small Settings icon (wrench), and select Uninstall.
  3. Click Uninstall again to confirm.
  4. Your app will now be uninstalled from Chrome and all the other synced Chrome browsers.

Gingerbread Theme for CyanogenMod 6.1

Android 2.3 Gingerbread isn’t going to be released for any device till the Nexus S is launched on December 16 and Nexus One users are also eagerly waiting for the launch along with other Android phone users

A developer at XDA has managed to develop a Gingerbread (Android 2.3) theme/metamorph for CyanogenMod 6.1 users.

This theme looks exactly like the actual Gingerbread UI. You can download this theme to explore more.

Google Nexus S vs Samsung Galaxy S

Google partnered with Samsung to bring the pure Google Android experience on a mobile phone in the form of, the Nexus S, which was unveiled a couple of days back along with the next Android OS update – Ginngerbread Android 2.3.

Nexus S is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S family in technical specifications, and from that is where Google decided to work on the Nexus S, unlike the Nexus One which was made from scratch.
