While the publication is not old enough to drink yet, albeit very close, we invite you to raise your glass to two decades of tech and startup coverage — and to many more! In today's newsletter we have the details on The Browser Company's AI-first browser; we learn of a startup building a plug-and-play AI device; and we've got all the little updates from WWDC you may have missed. Cheers! | | | Image Credits: The Browser Company | 🤖 Another AI browser: The Browser Company launched its AI-first browser, Dia, in beta mode. This comes after the company decided to stop developing its Arc browser last year after it didn't reach meaningful scale. Plus, we all want an AI browser, am I right? ⌫ Delete me: Genetic testing company 23andMe reported that 1.9 million of its users, about 15%, requested to have their data deleted since the company filed for bankruptcy in March. This comes as lawmakers scrutinize the company's sale to Regeneron in May. We've also got handy tips on how to delete your info, too. 🎁 AI in a box: Uptime Industries launched its "AI in a box" device called Lemony AI, which allows enterprises to run open source AI models, AI agents, and more. The company is seeing strong early traction for this device from heavily regulated industries. | | | 📲 It's the little things: While the headlines from Apple's WWDC event have largely surrounded the company's big announcements, like Liquid Glass, there are many other small updates, like a new screenshot menu layout, too. Don't worry, we've rounded those up for you. 🙈 AI is coming for you: Today's episode of Equity features a conversation with freelancer marketplace Fiverr's CEO Micha Kaufman, who talked about how AI is coming for everyone's jobs and why freelancers need to adopt AI tools or risk getting left behind. 💵 Fresh funds: While many consider 2025 to be a tough fundraising year for venture firms, there are some notable breakthroughs. Jewel Burks Solomon's Collab Capital just raised $75 million for its second fund to back early-stage companies. 🚖 Robotaxi time — maybe: Elon Musk announced that Tesla will start offering public driverless rides on June 22 in Austin, Texas. It was originally reported that these rides were to start tomorrow, which is one of a handful of reasons to believe this could be delayed again. 🎥 AI edit tools: Meta is adding video editing tools to Meta AI. This will let users edit short videos using preset AI prompts to change costumes, locations, and styles. In true Meta fashion, this comes after Google has been steadily rolling out AI video editing tools. | | | 💊 AI for good: Samuel Andrade is a pharmacist in Brazil and is the lone provider to 22,000 people in the Amazon. Andrade has found that AI tools are helping him quadruple the number of prescriptions he can fill while also helping him catch potential errors. 🎮 Video games for all: Ross Minor has an ambitious goal — to make it so that blind people can play any video game that they want. Minor, who is blind himself, consults with big game studios and is a hardcore gamer with Twitch and YouTube channels. | | | Featured jobs from CrunchBoard | | | Has this been forwarded to you?
