Google Maps workers looking to get extra out of the app can clutch some free information from Google itself.

A new page dubbed few techniques to make your Google Maps for iPhone knowledge even better” exposes several handy features that you may not know existed.

To place a pin on a map, push down and hold any position. The pin discloses the exact address and shows an info sheet with a choice to share that location.
