Recently Apple has announced its third-generation iPad and we get an opportunity to have an overview about the things that Apple has committed and not delivered. We can have a brief overview on few of the products Apple has launched so far.

If by any means you have missed it here is little discussion about the scenario recently announced third generation iPad is a follow-up to the iPad 2. Company has also introduced an upgraded version of the Apple TV set-top box along with the iPhoto software for its iPad.

It was expected that Apple's next device would be working in existing numbering schemes, but it start to be looking shadowy. It was told that Apple would be naming it iPad3 or iPad HD but Apple has offered a totally different name that is "the new" and called it as "third generation"

It was told that the new device would be having a much stronger display in terms of pixels. It was expected that the numbers would either be 2048 x 1536 or 3 / 4 time the pixels that we currently have in iPad previous generations. Although the rumor is not at all new and it was also circulating when Apple was about to launch its iPad2 that Apple would be adding Retina Display to the tablet. This was latterly corrected by saying that this feature will be offered in the third generation device of Apple. At then people were agreed to believe this as Samsung demonstrated its Retina Display Like screen and accordingly Apple has also reaped with higher pixels.

But eventually, the screen is 2048 x 1536 and Apple named it as Retina Display, moreover the pixel density was very low in comparison to iPhone 4/4s and iPad Touch. They stated that due to the high resolutions people were keeping it at a certain distance from their faces , like , for example in smaller devices people keep it at a distance of 10 inches from their faces while with this device people are keeping it at the distance of 15inch.

Another interesting rumor was about the quad-core processor. It was stated that iPad would be including 4G LTE. With iOS 5.1. However things are quite mixed up now as according to the most recent information, it is now told that there will be two cores and the leaked image of the dual core A5X chip was also there.
But now, the new iPad is having dual-core chip. It is also true that the graphics offered by this device are of quad-core. The most important thing is that the leaked image was true in its means, which is certainly a serious thought to Apple.

Earlier it was a real interesting part for Apple fans that they would be able to enjoy 4G LTE networking with the new iPad with the release of which it is now clear that iPad does have 4G LTE connectivity feature. If I will talk about United States of America only, then user will get connected with Verizon wireless and AT&T networks easily. Another interesting part is that you need specific version to connect specific carriers, as the 4G LTE bands are different.

Now let's talk about the camera of the device. Apple has always provided improvement in its every camera enabled device and had always react the responses according to the time. This time we can expect another smart improvement from Apple's end. iPad added two cameras, one at front and one at rear end. In comparison to the camera of iPhone, iPad camera needs a lot of strength. It is now been communicated that Apple is adding a very strong camera in the upcoming device There will be a front-facing camera, which would be working with Apple's FaceTime along with high definition quality. While the camera on the rear end would be as equal to the quality used in the iPhone.

This idea is strengthen up by the leaked image of the casing of iPad which is having a little bigger hole for its camera.

Now the iPad comes with really improved camera as compared to the one we have in iPad2. However the camera at the front still has VGA quality.
