There are a number of Twitter clients available that allow you to upload photos directly to TwitPic and other Twitter photo-hosting services, but what if you don’t want to upload using a Twitter client?

Picture Tweeter does that job. It is a separate Android app that provides a very simple interface to upload photos to TwitPic and publish them on your Twitter profile with a tweet.

After installation, you need to enter your Twitter username and password in settings, and you’re all good to go. Just select an existing photo from your gallery, or take one right from within the app. Type in a tweet/caption with which you want it to be posted and upload it.

The app automatically resizes the photo in the standard TwitPic size, making it faster to upload photos if not connected to WiFi.
